Naivasha Children’s Shelter is seeking to fill the position of a administrative assistant as detailed below;
Job title: Administrative Assistant
Reporting line: Director
To ensure efficient and effective day to day running of Shelter and assist in the rehabilitation of street-connected children.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Maintain up-to-date office files and records for Naivasha Children Shelter.
Distributing and paying bills paid via cheques to the suppliers.
Receiving and attending visitors who don’t require the attention of the director.
Teach in class when necessary.
Attending school meetings for the boys living at Shelter.
Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders in a professional manner.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Director.
Minimum Requirements and experience
Experience in administration, social work, or teaching.
Computer literacy: working knowledge of MS office required;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Drivers license preferred.
